Paris - Plane Trip from Atlanta 04/04/2016 Traveling to Paris by Plane From Atlanta: Be forewarned, you might experience jet lag since Paris is six hours ahead of the Eastern Time zone. We chose to travel through the night. The main reason was so we could arrive at the hotel after check in time and go straight to our room to rest if need be. As it turned out, we had a nonstop flight from Atlanta and were able to sleep for a bit on the plane. Headphones, eye mask and earplugs were provided as well as a blanket and pillow. Also, READ MORE

By the way, you DO tip taxi drivers in Europe. (15-20%). And most do not accept credit cards. You have your choice of public transportation: Metro (subway), buses, Regional Trains (RER).
